Heath Bar Saucepan Brownies

One pot is all you need to mix up these amazing heath bar saucepan brownies.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 c butter (2 sticks)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour (I used Pamela's gluten-free)
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped heath bar (approximately)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease an 8x8 pan.
  3. In a medium sized saucepan, combine the sugar and butter over medium heat. Stir with a wooden spoon or heat resistant spatula.
  4. When the butter has melted, add the vanilla. Stir.
  5. Set aside to cool for about five minutes.
  6. Add 3 eggs. Stir well to combine.
  7. Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup cocoa powder, salt and baking powder. Stir well.
  8. Spread in a greased 8x8 pan. Gently spread heath bar pieces over the top.
  9. Cook at 350 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes.
