Ladyfinger Trifle

Yes, it is finally that time of year! Barbecues, cook outs, and neighborhood gatherings! For the next potluck event, why not bring a dessert? Something easy and delicious like this Ladyfinger Trifle.

Ladyfinger Trifle

2 packages ladyfingers from the bakery section at the grocery
Cool whip (16 oz container) (thawed in the refrigerator)
Fresh fruit, cut up in small pieces
– Strawberries
– Pineapple
– Mango
– Blueberries
– Blackberries

I use whatever fruit is in season or looks tasty at the grocery store. This weekend the mangoes and strawberries looked and tasted amazing!

Layer ladyfingers in the bottom of a glass bowl. Spread with thawed cool whip. Layer fruit evenly over the cool whip. Repeat the layers – ladyfingers, cool whip, fruit – until you run out of ingredients or run out of space in the bowl. For the last layer, arrange fruit decoratively on top! Enjoy!
